Information for Windows 7 usersThe Boustead Model cannot be run directly in Windows 7. Even if it apparently loads some of the facilities are missing and the results are unpredictable and usually wrong. Although the Boustead Model will not run directly in Windows 7, it can be run in something called "Windows XP mode". This is a "virtual PC" that operates within the Windows 7 operating system. It runs concurrently with Windows 7 and can communicate with Windows 7. It is not a dual-boot system. To set up Windows XP mode, we strongly recommend that you have the correct version of Windows 7. According to Microsoft, XP mode is not supported on Home editions of Windows 7 (Starter, Home Basic, or Home Premium). It is supported and is free for users of Windows 7 Professional, Enterprise and Ultimate. For more information, click here to receive detailed instructions. Free copies of recent publications
